A fully mobile dessert food truck and caterer, Puttin' On The mitts offers delectable sweets and treats made from ingredients sourced as locally possible from the Finger Lakes. We can be found wandering Seneca Lake and the surrounding areas but can also be hired for private events, weddings and parties! We also occasionally offer savory foods and snacks depending on our location.

Plastic production has increased exponentially, from 2.3 million tons in 1950 to 448 million tons by 2015. Production is expected to double by 2050. We have made it our mission to use no single use plastics in our daily operations and to educate the public on how they can help.

Working hand in hand with local composting companies, were are able to properly compost all of our waste including cups, boxes, utensils and food waste! The compost is then able to be reused to grow more food, flowers and help (not harm) the earth we live on!

Multiplied by millions upon millions, those plastic utensils we use often are just plain terrible for the environment. We pledge to only use sustainably harvested wooden and biodegradable plant plastic utensils.

Did you know that Americans use 500 million drinking straws every day and that they make up .025% of the plastic waste the enters the oceans?

We are doing our part to save our oceans by using paper, metal and silicone reusable straws only.

Eco Take-Out Boxes & Greenware

2.3 million tons of Styrofoam ends up in landfills yearly, accounting for about 30% of landfill space worldwide.

That is a scary statistic!

We will only use compostable take out boxes, greenware cups and paper bags and do our part not to add to this staggering number.
